  • Author: SIMOVIRAL

Description

Air fryers have become increasingly popular for their ability to cook food quickly and with less oil than traditional frying methods. Honey Mustard Chicken Thighs are a delicious and flavorful dish that can be easily prepared in an air fryer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the honey, whole grain mustard, Dijon mustard, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Pat dry the chicken thighs with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  4. Brush the honey mustard mixture over both sides of the chicken thighs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  5. Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the air fryer basket, leaving some space between them to allow for proper air circulation.
  6. Air fry the chicken thighs at 375°F (190°C) for about 15 minutes.
  7. After 15 minutes, flip the chicken thighs over and brush the remaining honey mustard mixture over the top.
  8. Continue to air fry for another 10-15 minutes or until the chicken thighs are crispy and cooked through, with an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  9. Once cooked, remove the chicken thighs from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
  10. Optionally, garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
